Debian 7.0 Wheezy to be Final on 4th/5th of May 2013

Neil McGovern, on behalf of the Debian Release Team, announced the target date of the weekend of 4th/5th May for the release of Debian 7.0 “Wheezy”.

    Using it now..
    Ive used many debian derivatives but come back to Debian itself. Once I installed AMD Catalyst 13.1 and Oracle JRE works a treat ! I use with classic gnome or lxde as im an old “fuddy duddy” and cant see the benefit in gnome 3 / unity and their ilk.

    • I always ran either Crunchbang Linux or my own Debian-based custom distro. When Phil Newborough (Corenominal) ended the Crunchbang project, I just used a minimal Debian build inside Vbox on my Windows machines.
